Goods in Transit Policy
The Goods in Transit policy is an All Risk Policy that covers goods being carried from one location to another.
Any loss that is not specifically excluded under this policy is covered and the insurance is suitable for any organisation that is engaged in movement of goods either by road or rail. The cover will also be in place when the good’s been conveyed by the owner’s vehicle or hired vehicles.
The items covered by this policy are:
- Buildings
- Contents of a building e.g. furniture, electronics, etc.
- Plant and machinery
- Stock of raw materials and finished goods
- Loss of annual rent for alternative accommodation
